Figure of speech
Well, it may sound funny to a native english speaker, but "figure of speech" is a figure of speech. The original word is "idiom." An idiom is a phrase that is hard to understand based only on the words in the phrase. Most idioms are figurative speech. So, one more time a little more confusingly: "Figure of speech" is a figure of speech that means "idiom."

영어 원어민들에게 이상하겠지만 이"언어 의형체"이라는 말도 언어의 형체 (문체)입니다. 원래는 "숙어" 라고도 하죠? 숙어는 어떤거냐면, 표현에서 나오는 단어만 보고 그표현의 뜻을 이해하기 힘든 표현을 "숙어" 라고 해요 숙어표현중에 대부분은 비유적인 말이잖아요.그럼 한번도 조금 더 헷갈리게, "언어의 형태"는 숙어라는 듯하는 문체 (비유적 표현) 입니다.
